REGENERATIVE COMMUNITY

A regenerative community improves the health and vitality of the local environment and the people who live there by fostering relationships that support both human and ecological systems; incorporating principles from nature such as mutual support, resilience and adaptability; prioritising resources and biodiversity; and integrating renewable energy and sustainable practices.

A regenerative approach goes beyond traditional ‘sustainable communities’ by actively restoring and enhancing ecosystems to create a holistic environment and a thriving, inclusive and resilient community – leaving a positive legacy for future generations.
