REGENERATIVE AOTEAROA TOURS

Join expert guide and founder of Regenerative Aotearoa New Zealand, Michael Goodhue, on an immersive 7-day tour exploring the heart of regenerative living in Aotearoa.

The journey begins on Waiheke Island with a Māori culture welcome, then a sunrise on the breathtaking East Coast of the North Island and culminates with a rejuvenating soak in the healing thermal waters of Hanmer Springs in the South Island.

Over seven experiential days we’ll visit regenerative farming practices, sample award-winning local cheeses from a biodynamic farming practice, engage with native wildlife and explore places that hold cultural and spiritual significance.

A key element of the journey is a daily Qigong practice, and gaining an understanding of how this gentle yet powerful movement practice can generate vitality and life force energy.

Whether you’re seeking inspiration, connection, or a deeper understanding of regeneration, this is an invitation to experience unforgettable insights into regenerative practices.

A CURATED EXPERIENCE

Your bespoke tour begins on Waiheke Island (20kms off Auckland New Zealand’s largest city) where you visit a Maori Marae, then travel to the East Coast of the North Island, in Tairawhiti Gisborne, the first place to see the sun in the world. We will greet the sun’s rays, as they rise over the Pacific Ocean, with a specially tailored Qigong practice.

In Gisborne we will visit Eastwoodhill, the largest Arboretum in the southern hemisphere and home to more than 25,000 species of exotic and native trees, shrubs and climber plants spread over beautiful 135-hectare grounds.

We then travel south to Te Matau-a-Māui Hawkes Bay to explore 100-year-old redwood forests and have an expansive view of a sunset from Te Mata Peak.

A sunrise Qigong session will be offered at Ātea a Rangi, a celestial star compass built to teach traditional navigation.

In Hawkes Bay we pause at Hohepa and experience a delicious range of award-winning cheeses produced from high quality milk from healthy, happy cows grazing on biodiverse pastures with biodynamic farming practices.

An exclusive visit to a regenerative farm in southern Hawkes Bay will allow you to experience firsthand what it means to live regeneratively.

Travelling to Te Waipounamu, the South Island of Aotearoa New Zealand, our next stop will be Kaikoura – to witness glorious sunrises, sunsets, whales, dolphins and the local seal colony.

We wrap up your Regenerative Tour in Hamner Springs with a relaxing soak in natural thermal pools, followed by a hands-on, interactive stargazing experience – ensuring you finish the tour in a state of wonder and bliss.
